We finished yet another round of upgrades recently! These upgrades are directed to both the job seeker and companies that are advertising available jobs. Here's a quick rundown.

Coupon Codes / Promotions - We've been wanting this upgrade for a while. This allows us to do special coupon codes or promotions for the company that have available jobs. This helps us pass along discounts and run special social media promos. Every likes to save money, right?

Spanish Language - The site can now be translated in to Spanish by selecting it in the language drop-down box. Si alguien prefiere leer en espanol, ahora, se puede.

Mass apply - Have you ever searched a job site and found several jobs that you want to apply for? It's kind of tedious applying for each one, one at a time. We made it easier. Save the jobs your interested in. Then, you can click a radio button on the jobs in your "Saved Jobs" and click "Apply for Jobs". It's that easy.

It's been a long time since we've spoken. We haven't forgotten about you though. A few posts ago, we discussed some upgrades that we had made to the site. Unfortunately, the upgrades didn't go so well. We had some issues and the site was down for quite some time. But, the site is back now and we're better than ever. You might have even noticed that we made some changes to the logo (go blue!).

We told you yesterday about our new support for photos and video resumes. Today, we'll tell you about some more of our recent upgrades.

One of the downsides of many job search sites are the spammers and scammers. It's tough sifting through all of those bogus jobs trying to find the real ones. So, we've added the CAPTCHA support to all new job listings. CAPTCHA's make it so that bots or automated programs can't post jobs to the site. Many of the spammers and scammers use bots to post job listings. Well, they can't do that on our site anymore.

A very important thing to consider when applying for a job is where that job is located. Is it going to be close to where you live? We've made it easier than ever for you to find that out. All new job listings are given the option to include a Google Map right there on the page. So you won't have to guess or go searching online for the hiring company to see where they are located. It's right there!

Finally, have you ever seen a job on a search site that just didn't fit you, but was perfect for someone you know? We added social bookmarking to the site now to make it super easy for you to share jobs that you think are interesting to someone other than yourself. That's one of the great things about social networking... sharing interesting things with your friends. Now, you can quickly share interesting jobs with your friends.

Those are the primary new upgrades to the site for now. But we're always looking for new way to make the site better.

Last week we gave you a sneak peek at the upgrades just released to Aspire Jobs. This week, we bring you the details. We'll start out with the upgrade to your user profiles and the best ways to use them.

New to the profiles is the ability to add photos and video resumes to your user profiles. These are just another way for you to separate yourself from the rest of the pack. A photo is a great way to show yourself off to companies looking to hire. A professional head-shot shows that you can present yourself well and that the company shouldn't worry about how you are going to represent their company. A video resume takes it one step further.

The video resume feature allows you to really market yourself to companies looking to hire. With a video resume, you can tell them in your own voice how great you are, how perfect you are for the job and all of the great skills you bring to the table. It's almost like a pre-interview interview.
